If you’re having a technical issue there are a couple different ways that you can get a hold of Information Systems for assistance. In this article we’ll outline the 4 methods of getting in contact with your IS team.
- Pay Us a Visit
- Information Systems offices are located at 1211 24th Street in the IMC building on the bottom floor next to the Human Resource offices. Feel free to stop by to discuss your technical issue with one of our Help Desk staff members.
- Call Information Systems
- Our help desk is manned from 7AM – 5PM PST. If you are on campus feel free to call us at extension 4268 or off campus at 360.299.4268. If you are calling after hours you will be prompted with two options.
- Option 1
- Leave a voicemail. We’ll get you a response the next business day.
- Option 2
- Transfer out to the ‘On-Call’ technician
- The ‘On-Call’ role is not a full time position, it rotates through our department
- There may be times when a technician is in dispose and you are sent to voicemail
- Leave a voice mail including the following info…
- Full Name
- Phone Number/Extension you can be reached at
- Workstation or Device exhibiting the issue
- A brief description of your issue
- Wait 15 minutes and call back if you have not received a response

- Transfer out to the ‘On-Call’ technician

- Send Us and Email
- In your e-mail client type ‘helpdesk@islandhospital.org ‘ or ‘@Helpdesk’ (if you are on campus) into the ‘To:’ field
- Make sure to include the following information…
- Location
- Department
- Workstation or Device exhibiting the issue
- A brief description of your issue
- Phone Number/Extension you can be reached at
- E-mail is only monitored from 7AM – 5PM and is not a route for after hours emergencies
